Reese Stigliano, president of Stigliano Commercial Real Estate, negotiated the sale of an educational facility located in Plantation, Florida.
The 11,300 square foot facility, which is situated on 2.3 acres, sold for $3 million. The sale closed October 31.
Stigliano represented the Seller, Development Learning Associates in the transaction. The Buyer, Montessori Institute of Broward, is an experienced Pre-K School operator that owns two other schools in South Florida.
“This was a complex transaction,” explained Reese. “The sale included not only the real estate but the business as well. Because of the confidentiality aspect of the business, we did not market the property on any commercial listing service. All marketing was directly targeted to pre-school operators and educational companies. The marketing had to be custom tailored to the Seller’s requirement of limited disclosure.”
